BCC has self-catering, centrally heated accommodation for singles, couples and families. Arranged in a number of blocks around the college site, the accommodation lies in a very pleasant situation on a quiet cul-de-sac within the Selly Oak campus, enhanced by trees and shared gardens. Some of the exterior views are shown below. For more information about BCC accommodation, please contact the accommodation office here.
BCC can also provide accommodation and meeting rooms for up to 200 people for conferences, retreats, etc. Please contact the Accommodation Office for details.
We have single rooms with en-suite shower rooms. The rooms have a bed, desk, chair and wardrobe. There is a washing machine and iron/ironing board provided free of charge. There is also a vacuum cleaner and other cleaning equipment. We are fully self-catering so there is a fully equipped kitchen on each landing (shared between 4 or 5 rooms) with cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, fridge-freezer etc. There is also free wi-fi available. You would be responsible for cleaning your own room and jointly responsible with other residents for keeping the kitchen and common areas clean. You will also need to supply your own bed linen.
The cost is £600 per month (£700 for a couple), payable monthly in advance, which includes everything mentioned above plus heat, light and water but you would obviously need to buy your own food, toiletries, washing powder etc. We also ask for a month’s rent as deposit (£600.00) which is refunded when you leave subject, of course, to everything in your room being in order. We ask that accommodation fees are paid by standing order on the 1st of each month. If you arrive mid-month, we will work out the amount due on a pro-rata basis for the remainder of that month. The rents are subject to inflationary increases from time to time.
If you would like to book a room with us, please email info@bccoll.ac.uk and we will provide you with an application form and a copy of the Protected Licence Agreement which gives the terms and conditions of the agreement. If you would like to book a room, please complete, and return the application form. We will then write to your referees and on receipt of their replies we will write to inform you of our decision.
We have single bedrooms, most of which have 4ft double beds with en-suite shower rooms and toilets and we supply the bed linen and towels. The rooms also have a desk and office chair. There is a shared kitchen on each landing (the accommodation is self-catering) which is shared between 4 or 5 rooms and it is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, pans etc. and there is a washing machine and airers available. There is also free wi-fi. We charge £35 per night for en-suite rooms and £30 per night for rooms with shared bathrooms. We normally email out PayPal invoices before your check-in date (e.g. if you have booked for 2 weeks, we would send out an invoice for each week before your stay that week, or if it’s a continuous stay without any check-outs in between we will invoice you for the whole duration before you check-in).
The invoice can be paid online either via a PayPal account if you have one or by checking out as a guest using a debit/credit card. Alternatively, we can provide bank details if you prefer to pay directly into our bank account. The fees are subject to inflationary increases from time to time.
If you would like to book a room with us, please email info@bccoll.ac.uk

Birmingham Christian College is welcoming churches and Christian groups to our college’s conference centre located in the Birmingham University Campus at Selly Oak. With facilities to host up to 200 delegates (300 with a video link to an ‘overflow’ room) and competitive pricing, we provide the space for work and ministry to flourish.
As a Christian organisation ourselves, we understand the importance of providing an environment that allows time and space for fellowship, worship, teaching and prayer. We welcome the entire Christian community to our College and because we share your Christian values and ethos, you’ll be at home amongst friends and can truly be yourselves. The quiet campus at BCC is also an ideal place for personal retreats and rest away from the busyness of life and Christian ministry.
Our college is equipped with large conference rooms and break-out meeting spaces. Our largest conference hall seats up to 200 people and like all our meeting spaces, it includes high-quality AV (flat screens, interactive screens and more) and Wi-Fi at no extra cost.
Also available are a range of meeting rooms in a variety of sizes, ideal for smaller group activities and workshops to use throughout your event. The cost of our conference rooms depends on the size of the room required.
