class=\"ekit-team-modal-position\">Acting Dean, Head of Postgraduate Studies, Research and Student Support<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"ekit-team-modal-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tGrace is a Practical Theologian, having studied for her BA Theology at the University of Exeter before obtaining her MA Religion and Culture and PhD Theology at the University of Birmingham. She has written on Pentecostal-Charismatic conversion and salvation, religious and cultural identity negotiation in Christian converts and most recently on Ecotheology and theological education. She is passionate about creation care and has led two research projects on Pentecostal engagement with creation care in 2024-25 funded by ECLAS (Engaging Christian Leaders in an Age of Science) and the St Peter\u2019s Saltley Trust (see BCC Research Hub page for details). She holds a BA degree in Christian Counselling and Christian Ministries from Cornerstone Christian College and Stellenbosch University, Cape Town in South Africa, Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling from Birmingham University, UK and an MA in Psychodynamic Counselling from Newman University, Birmingham, UK. Joyce also has MA in Theology (Pastoral and Practical) qualification from Manchester University.  \n<br><br>\nShe has many years experience of counselling in a Community Unit, prison and at a psychology and psychotherapy service in the NHS as psychotherapist and counsellor and as a volunteer counsellor in a church context. She has offered therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples and groups, encouraging emotional and psychological well-being and spiritual growth. Her training is in the psychodynamic paradigm but she has developed skills in CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and person-centred approaches. She is married with three children. Prior to joining Birmingham Christian College as a Lead CPCAB Level 4 Counselling Tutor, she has had a range of counselling roles, including working with young people at Solihull College and University of Warwick Counselling Services, and with adults at Solihull MIND, Evesham and District Mental Health Support Services, Bridge Counselling Service and Carrs Lane Counselling Service, addressing a range of issues. She has also been offering private practice in counselling and supervision since summer 2023. \n<br><br>\nTheresa also works as a lecturer at Birmingham City University also led a Foundation Degree in Person Centred Counselling for 2 years in Hereford supporting students during their training. She brings both knowledge and real-life experience into her classes, helping students build a strong foundation in counselling practice.\n<br><br>\nShe is currently working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, having already completed CPCAB Level 2 in Counselling Skills and Level 3 in Counselling Studies. \n<br><br>\nThrough her studies and experience, Becky has shown a genuine commitment to growth, reflection, and care for others. She is passionate about guiding students as they develop the skills and confidence to support people with empathy and integrity.\n<br><br>\nBecky is dedicated to creating a classroom atmosphere that is encouraging, respectful, and supportive. Lord\u2019s passion for holistic Christian ministry got him involved in church planting and community development activities in Khayelitsha Township near Cape Town, South Africa. Whilst in Scotland serving as the District Pastor of The Church of Pentecost-UK, he led the church to establish the Cathcart Road Community Awareness Project (CARCAP) a Scottish government sponsored initiative on climate change in the Mount Florida community in Glasgow. His academic qualifications include a BA in Theology from the University of Stellenbosch\/ Cornerstone Christian College in South Africa, an MA in Theology (Mission Studies) from The University of Manchester, an MPhil in Theology (Pentecostal\/Charismatic Studies) from the University of Birmingham and a PhD from The University of Manchester. He is passionate about Church planting\/growth, mentoring and Leadership development and for many years has been involved in Church planting and Christian ministry in Ghana, UK, Ukraine, Russia, Poland and Hungary. Prior to his call into the full time ministry, Abraham trained as an Accountant and worked with Barclays Bank in London and other Organisations in UK and Ghana. Abraham is currently studying for a PhD in Theological Ethics at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. He also holds Masters degree (MSc) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wales, UK, Master of Theology (MTh) in Applied Theology from Regent Theological College\/University of Chester, UK. He also holds a Certificate in Theology and Missions from Pentecost University, Ghana and other professional Accountancy qualifications from the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), UK.\n<br><br>\nApart from research, Abraham loves watching documentaries, running, playing table tennis and football with his boys. the Dean of Studies and programme director at BCC. Caleb is a senior Fellow of the High Education Academy (SFHEA) and a fellow at the Institute of Pentecostal Theology.  He holds a PhD in Christian theology with University of Birmingham. His main areas of research are emerging generations and their pneumatology, Hermeneutics, and contemporary apologetics. Caleb also holds a foundation certificate in counselling with AQA and a certificate in Church Leadership and Pastoral Care with the Association of Christian Counsellors. Caleb is a teacher, mentor, and an author. He has contributed to academic journals and books over the last few years. Caleb has also worked with youth cross-culturally and is a gifted worship leader, teacher, and pastor. He is presently the senior pastor at Elim Church Sparkbrook, Birmingham (UK). Prior to his appointment at the University, Samuel lectured and headed the Farming Management Department of Esayidi TVET College in South Africa. He was a fellow of the Global Challenges Research Fund\/Liverpool John Moores University digital fellowship programme. He recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship with the American University in Cairo under the sponsorship of the BECH-Africa and Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. He was appointed an Adjunct Associate Professor by the University of South Africa (Unisa) in 2021.\n<br><br>\nSamuel has a deep passion for teaching, researching, mentoring and community work. He has consulted for Ghanaian and international organisations on leadership and management issues. Samuel has presented at several international conferences and has published widely in his areas of research interest. As Director of Children Worldwide, he is working to develop the role of children\u2019s ministry within the UK and further afield. He also is part of Children Matter, a national think tank on children\u2019s ministry. As an academic and a pastor, he has a passion for exegesis, and particularly opening up the narratives in the Bible. As author, he has written books centred on children\u2019s ministry such as Children In the Heart of God and The Santa Claus Principle, as well as contributing to Faithfull Generation. In addition to various articles he has also written devotional readings for Daily Bread. He is the son of a Pentecostal Pastor from Kerala, South India. He has been actively involved in full-time Christian Ministry since 1991. Before coming to the United Kingdom, he was working in Rajasthan (North India) as a missionary pastor as well as principal lecturer in Missiology and Academic Dean at Filadelfia Bible College. It is one of the most prominent Evangelical Theological Institutes in North India. He is an accredited minister of AoG, GB. He currently serves as the Senior Minister of Birmingham Pentecostal Fellowship as well as Life Abundant Pentecostal Fellowship, Leicester. He is the author of Contextual Missiology of the Spirit (Oxford: Regnum, 2013). His research interests include Pentecostal Theology, Pentecostal History and Mission. He has an MA in New Testament Studies from Lincoln Christian Seminary in Lincoln, Illinois, USA. He is a visiting lecturer at BCC as well as a visiting lecturer at other theological colleges. He is the co-author of Celebrating the Small Church; Power and the Powers: the Use and Abuse of Missional Leadership, Forming Multicultural Partnerships; and Missional Discipleship After Christendom. He was previously the National Coordinator of the Fellowship of Churches of Christ in Great Britain and Ireland and is now their National Ecumenical Officer. He has been involved in various church plants and was for many years the Small Church Officer for the British Church Growth Association, developing resources to help smaller churches engage missionally in their ministry.\n<br><br>\nDan is married to Amy and they have two adult children and three grandchildren. They live in Redditch, Worcestershire, leading a mid-week church seeking to re-engage those who have become prodigals. Bookkeeping and Payroll Trainee at Future Connect Accountants, Birmingham. Aside, he worked as an Assistant Budget Analyst at the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, Ghana, where he contributed to budget monitoring, procurement analysis, and financial reporting. Beyond finance and administration, Gideon has experience in training, supervision, and data management from his time as a Regional Trainer for the Ghana Statistical Service and a Supervising Registration Officer at the National Identification Authority, Ghana. \nGideon worked with the State Insurance Co.
